Spring Wedding Colors
Spring is the time of year when everything looks new and fresh, which makes this the perfecto time for a wedding-a new fresh start with the one you love. If you are having a wedding in the spring, there are many ideas you can find to make your day perfect. When planning a spring-themed wedding, it is important to choose spring wedding colors that will perfectly accent your big day. As far as popular spring wedding colors go, not a lot has changed since 2005. Colors for a spring wedding were often lavender or pink for those that like pastels and orange or red hues for those with a bolder nature.
Whether you want your spring wedding to be held outdoors or indoors, the color scheme you ultimately use will play a huge part in the overall appearance. This appearance will be portrayed in the photographs you have taken of your wedding. If you like bright and bold wedding colors, spring is the perfect wedding time for you. If the weather permits, you will be exchanging your vows outdoors so you will already have all the beautiful vibrant colors of spring.
This year brides are going for vibrant colors such as reds, orange or purple for their wedding colors for spring. Those that like softer colors are choosing shades of pink or lavender mixed with contrasting colors. Spring color patterns for weddings are stripes, gingham and polka dots still staying within the color scheme. When a wedding is planned for outdoors, especially a spring wedding (April showers etc), you always need to make alternate arrangements in case Mother Nature isn't agreeable that day. You may want to rent a tent just in case. The colors for a spring wedding that are already being used can be used to decorate the tent. Contrasting umbrellas for the bride and her attendants will be greatly appreciated if it rains. These also make for beautiful outdoor wedding portraits.
Flowers for your spring wedding can be any of the beautiful outdoor flowers you see blooming. Many brides choose to use tulips or narcissus as you can get them in a variety of colors. Some of the flowers are used as decorations around the wedding cake. Whereas most traditional wedding cakes are white, you often see contrasting and sometimes bold colors on spring wedding cakes. The majority of the cake is white with bold frosting "ribbon" and flowers. The end result is not only a delicious wedding cake, but one that almost looks too good to eat.
